Be aware. On 12 May 2025, Queensland Building and Construction Commission decided that Daniel Kostiuk had engaged in unsatisfactory conduct. The QBCC defines unsatisfactory conduct as conduct that shows incompetence, or a lack of adequate knowledge, skill, judgement, integrity, diligence or care in performing building or private certifying functions. The QBCC took disciplinary action including a reprimand and an order that required the certifier to take steps to ensure certification of the building work (in question) complies with the Building Act.
