Provide First Aid
Australia Wide First Aid’s Provide First Aid course is the minimum requirement for workplace first aid compliance. The Provide First Aid unit of competency provides you with the skills and knowledge required to provide first aid response, life support, management of casualty(s), the incident and other First Aiders until emergency qualified help arrives at the scene of the accident.
Provide CPR
Provide CPR or Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) provides students with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills required to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies.
CPR is taught as the first segment of the Provide First Aid Course and forms part of this qualification.
Asthma and Anaphylaxis
All schools and childcare providers are required to have staff trained in Asthma Management and Anaphylaxis Awareness, ensuring a trained First Aider is immediately available at all times. Family Day Care providers ensure that all staff members are certified in both Asthma and Anaphylaxis. Does your employment require certification?
Emergency First Aid In An Education And Care Setting
This unit of competency has been approved by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) and also satisfies all requirements for first aid, anaphylaxis management, and emergency asthma training under the Education and Care Service National Law and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011).
LVR/CPR
Perform Rescue from a Live LV Panel (also known as LVR) course with Australia Wide First Aid will provide you with the skills and knowledge to manage a casualty involved in a perform rescue from a live LV panel. In the emergency situation in which the casualty requires CPR, you or your employees will have the lifesaving skills to manage the situation until emergency services arrive.
