Family Mediation Matters provides family mediations with an independent, impartial Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP) - someone who can help you resolve your property settlement, financial matters and children's matters without ever having to go to Court.
We look at options and help you work out the best way to reach agreement.
Mediation is a smarter alternative than going to Court. The Mediator will talk to both of you after the breakdown of your relationship and help you come to an agreement on how to divide property, finances and belongings and to make arrangements for your children for the future.
Within weeks, Mediation can be arranged by either:
In a face to face meeting with the Mediator (same room); or
By shuttle (2 separate rooms) where you don’t have to see each other; or
On the telephone; or
By online video conference.
Schedule of Fees
Issue invitations to attend Family Dispute Resolution (FDR) Mediation (for property settlement and/or parenting matters) - Free
Intake session for property settlement and/or children’s matters (30 mins) – on telephone, by video or in person - Free
Two (2) hour Mediation (if shared equally $500 each) - $1,000
Four (4) hour Mediation (if shared equally $1,000 each) - $2,000
Full day Mediation (if shared equally $1,500 each) - $3,000
Issue a Section 60I Certificate if deemed unsuitable to mediate (parenting matters) - $150
